So if you go for sweets you are counteracting your depression?.
God I love sweets.
hmmm.. literally food for thought.
Anyway. I'm watching The View. That's where a lot of some of this stuff comes from that I write. It always makes me think. I don't care what anyone says; I love this show.
I'm finally getting around to doing the stuff that I was supposed to do for months ago. I finally got the label to return my clothes. I've ordered my vitamins. I ordered my book for school and I'm finally starting to write these papers. God I'm lazy. Some of this stuff should've been done weeks ago. I've got to order my facial cleanser and face stuff, and some lotion for my face. I want to try some new hair products too.
Speaking of. Months ago I decided that my hair was crap and it's been crap for a while. I had a really good hairdresser who left after the storm. She took care of my hair and it was straight and healthy. THEN the storm came and everything went pear-shaped as they say. So, I had no hairdresser and really bad hair. I got some scissors and trimmed my ends, I went on a no-heat "diet", and I started to wash it and condition it more often. Now, I'm black and I've always been told that black people don't wash their hair often. It's not necessary. So I never washed it more than 3 times a month. Now I wash it about 2 - 3 times a week. I do what is known as a co-wash.
I really got a lot of these ideas from researching. I wanted to grow my hair and make it healthier and what I was doing wasn't working. My hair had been the same length for years. It's growing now and it's free. I'm doing everything myself. If I'd never started working on it, I would've never learn to do my own relaxer and cut my own ends. If I had a camera I'd take a picture, but i lost it and I've gotta buy a new one. lol Anyway, the story goes that I'm always looking for a new leave - in conditioner or product. Right now I'm using Garnier Fructis mainly because it's cheap and they make that fantastic smoothing milk that I love. Mane n'Tail is my standard. I'll never give it up. It's unbelievable. I use olive oil, olive oil, olive oil everything. And that Carol's Daughter Shea Butter which is way too expensive for what it does.
Enough about hair. Here's some Mika!!
