The title says it all. Cure me.
I've never watched or listened to Imus, but I know he's a shock jock. I've never really cared. Now he's suing. So he's back in the news.
Nappy Headed Ho's (Hoes?? LOL I don't know how to spell it). That's not the point though. Seriously. I use the word nappy. I'm one of those people that just can't with the whole using the word for power and you know the word I'm talking about, but nappy has been a part of my vocabulary for a while. I never really thought about it. My hair gets nappy, but that's my reality; I don't see it as a negative thing, just another way to say "hey, time for a perm". You may say, oh she's in the South that's what they do. Well, whatever. You can ask anyone around me that I am in no way similar to most of the people in this region. Don't ask me why, that's just how it is. Back to the word. It doesn't offend me in the way that other words might. The word ho is more offensive to me. Coming out of his mouth. That's really the key. It was out of place. That's incredibly wrong to say, but that's reality.
Don't fool yourself into thinking he got fired because of his words. He got fired because advertisers were pulling out. That's money. That is what it comes down to.
In other news, I'm registering to vote. Not today, but I'm gonna vote in the 2008 election. I'll be 21 by then lol. I should've registered a long time ago, but as we learned in sociology poor people are more likely not to vote. This entry is all about facts kids. Anyway, it's one of those things were your environment influences your actions. My parents don't vote, their parents didn't vote, and it trickles down ya know. So yea I'm gonna get on that.

I haven't used this in forever. At least that's what I say each time I login. I am on dial-up at the moment. I know how uncool, or as one of my friends said, how retro. That it is.
I have no choice. My cable system has to be reinstall. It sucks and I have quite possibly the worst cable company in the world. I can't stand them. Unfortunately my area doesn't have DSL access so cable is my only option.
I want some Eagle Family Food Bars; I just saw them in the grocery store and now I want some.
I love Law and Order...all of them. I don't care what anyone says they are still some of the best shows on tv.
Well I'm drawing a blank and can't think of anything else to write. I'll have to login tomorrow and do this. I heard something about some LJ cross posting that I can do. That would be wonderful since it's hard to get to all of the sites I want to visit because of how long it takes. Even with Firefox and accelerator it's still moving at a snail's pace.
My momma is off from work tomorrow. I'm actually excited to have her home for one; I won't be telling her that though. lol. She's been working a lot so I really haven't had the chance to talk to her lately. Breakfast tomorrow should be nice and then I can follow that up with the Chelsea - Man U game. I have no idea who's at home. I really should know, but I don't. I wonder if Juve played today or tomorrow. It's so hard to keep up now that I'm without high speed. It takes years to look up info.
